Before I start talking about how to safely clean granite, I want to ask …
How was your Thanksgiving?? Any stories to share about your day? 🙂 Ours was wonderful! We had thought only a few of our kids would be able to join us. But as we sat down to eat, the group grew and grew until almost everyone had joined us! Today, we’re going to have a quiet chat about personal hygiene. We’re all adults here, right? So let’s talk about how one can feel clean after a normal bathroom visit. We’re going to talk about Nest Half Full’sBath Tissue Moistening Spray. Continue reading “Bath Tissue Moistening Spray”

I JUST submitted my first post to two (2!) blog hops!
I have found the best blogs by reading and clicking blog hops. It’s a great way to share ideas and find new writers who talk about things that you find interesting. And now, NHF is part of two of them this week! My first ever submission is Rosewater and ACV Toner. I figured it was a good one to start with.
If you don’t know what I mean by “blog hop”, or if you love them as much as I do, go check out two of my faves: Homestead Barn Hop (which is a great blog even if you aren’t a homesteader but do like getting down to basics) and Homemade Mondays (another great blog that I find always hilarious and often informative.)
I’m so excited! In fact, I was SO excited and nervous when I posted it first on Homestead Barn Hop that I chose the wrong thumbnail. sigh
To keep my skin healthy and looking younger, I started using non-toxic goodies like face cleanser, shower wash and body lotion. But they can be expensive and you still might not know what’s really in them.
About a year ago, I began the gradual journey toward making my own skin care products. At first, it was rather intimidating. There was a LOT of research to be done and then experimentation. I also dragged my feet a bit. I was scared. What if they didn’t work? How long would it take my skin to recover if it’s awful and I had to go back to the tried and true products? Would my skin recover?
